I’ve been a fan of Guitar here for quite a while now, but after looking at the list of songs for GH6, I gotta say, I wont be buying it.. The songs are getting less mainstream, more obscure and less popular with each release. The developers should be publishing what the people want, not what they want. I’m afraid I’ll be steering all my friends clear of this one – unless the song list improves
I agree with Tommy from Nov 28th and I-over from Jun 23 Those bands are desperately needed. I would LOVE to see Breaking Benjamin and Three Days Grace on GH! I’d love to see more AFI but by the looks of it they’ve put a song on nearly evey GH since three =P My Boyfriend and I were talking about this one. There are only a handful of songs on each that we like, which is quite sad. Maybe If they made a GH for the younger gen? Because think about it… some – most players only like a handful of songs on GH and the rest you play through coz you have to. Well thats the way I see it.

Don’t listen to this guy… he’s probably 10 years old or something and won’t be able to buy gh6 anyway. “How many kids would get into aerosmith”…lol.. just lol. Firstly, the average age of gamers today is around 25 so what some stupid little kid wants is kind of irrelevant, like in other aspects of life. Secondly, aerosmith have maintained their popularity for over 30 years for a reason. If they sucked, you would never have heard of them. How many of the bands you mentioned do you think people will remember in 30 years time? Judging by the fact that I’ve never heard of any of them I’m guessing zero.
They really need a guitar hero muse already. im gonna go out on a limb and say theyre probably the biggest band world wide at the moment so i think they really need it sooner than later

You guys are lucky that Metallica is even featured on Warriors of Rock. Like Anon said, Guitar Hero did do Metallica as a band specific. But to put in my 2 cents, I prefer The Unforgiven over The Unforgiven III.
I disagree with your assesment that Three Days Grace should be left out of Guitar Hero, but I totally agree with you that Warriors of Rck desperately needs Disturbed.
If you want to play those bands, go get that garbage can they’ve been throwing their songs in along with the rest of the music that most little kids and pre teens are dumb enough to call “good” music.

Guitar Hero 6 is all about returning the series to its roots. Saving the good music from all that new modern crap by throwing it away in the Band Hero trash heap so those of us with any kind of musical sense can enjoy good music without having to sift through that shit that’s been plauging the recent games.
Well 1st of all, yeah some of these artists being suggest r alryt, like… Avenged Sevenfold, Rise Against Breaking Benjamin n 3 Days Grace.
But, seriously, theyve made so many of guitar heros, so why not step it up a notch n a half, n go 2 power metal. Bands like, Stratovarius, Sontana Artica, Rhapsody of Fire , Hammerfall or if you wanna go really hard n heavy even Mudvayne.
But seriously, these songs are getting old, u all keep doing tha same old artists, its time for some real diffrent type of music, more epic!
Hey, Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock needs to release the FULL album “Asylum” from Disturbed. have you guys heard any of it? It would make amazing DLC after the release of the game. Here’s a short review of each of their new songs:
“Remnants”: Only instrumental, but the creativity of the guitar is amazing. This song leads directly to “Asylum”.
“Asylum”: Kicks butt. Singing is ferocious, drumming is epic, and guitar/bass is powerful.
“The Infection”: The guitar takes center stage for this song. Unbelievable solo and melodic tune.
“Warrior”: My favorite song off the whole album. Completely irresistable and you’ll find yourself singing it later. Bass and Drums pound on.
“Another Way To Die”: First single and very catchy. Nice instrumental portion, and beat is sick. Defintely a head-bobber. (You know what I mean.)
“Never Again”: Weakest track on the album due to its haphazard and rushed feel the verses carry. Nice guitar solo, however, and the classic “chugga-chugga” rhythym is present here.
“The Animal”: Kind of a fun song with virtually no meaning. Strong solo (again) and vocals are outstanding.
“Crucified”: Lead singer David Draiman soars with this song. He is absolutely amazing, and the bridge will give you chills.
“Serpentine”: Cool and strong, with mixed vocals from the whole band. Nice change of pace for Disturbed.
“My Child”: Possibly the most emotional song ever for Disturbed; Listeners will definitely feel for the lead singer while listening to this song. On a performance side, it is very strong and powerful.
“Sacrifice”: Good, not great. Catchy, and some good riffs keep it fresh, but much stronger songs exist on this album.
“Innocence”: Amazing conclusion to a truly epic album. Fast paced verses mix with a heavily melodic chorus; Also features unrelenting drums and bass. Definitely will not dissapointing, with a great message. (I listened to it twice in a row!).
Overall, Asylum is Disturbed’s best album ever, with more varied lyrical themes and a needed change of sound from their previous album Indestructible. So thats why Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock should add the whole album as DLC! Hope you liked my review as well! Let me know if it was well written and helpful, okay!

I’ve been a fan of Guitar here for quite a while now, but after looking at the list of songs for GH6, I gotta say, I wont be buying it.. The songs are getting less mainstream, more obscure and less popular with each release. The developers should be publishing what the people want, not what they want. I’m afraid I’ll be steering all my friends clear of this one – unless the song list improves

I agree with Tommy from Nov 28th and I-over from Jun 23 Those bands are desperately needed. I would LOVE to see Breaking Benjamin and Three Days Grace on GH! I’d love to see more AFI but by the looks of it they’ve put a song on nearly evey GH since three =P My Boyfriend and I were talking about this one. There are only a handful of songs on each that we like, which is quite sad. Maybe If they made a GH for the younger gen? Because think about it… some – most players only like a handful of songs on GH and the rest you play through coz you have to. Well thats the way I see it.

Firstly, the average age of gamers today is around 25 so what some stupid little kid wants is kind of irrelevant, like in other aspects of life. Secondly, aerosmith have maintained their popularity for over 30 years for a reason. If they sucked, you would never have heard of them. How many of the bands you mentioned do you think people will remember in 30 years time? Judging by the fact that I’ve never heard of any of them I’m guessing zero.

You guys are lucky that Metallica is even featured on Warriors of Rock. Like Anon said, Guitar Hero did do Metallica as a band specific. But to put in my 2 cents, I prefer The Unforgiven over The Unforgiven III.

Well 1st of all, yeah some of these artists being suggest r alryt, like… Avenged Sevenfold, Rise Against Breaking Benjamin n 3 Days Grace.
But, seriously, theyve made so many of guitar heros, so why not step it up a notch n a half, n go 2 power metal. Bands like, Stratovarius, Sontana Artica, Rhapsody of Fire , Hammerfall or if you wanna go really hard n heavy even Mudvayne.
But seriously, these songs are getting old, u all keep doing tha same old artists, its time for some real diffrent type of music, more epic!

Hey, Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock needs to release the FULL album “Asylum” from Disturbed. have you guys heard any of it? It would make amazing DLC after the release of the game. Here’s a short review of each of their new songs:
“Remnants”: Only instrumental, but the creativity of the guitar is amazing. This song leads directly to “Asylum”.
“Asylum”: Kicks butt. Singing is ferocious, drumming is epic, and guitar/bass is powerful.
“The Infection”: The guitar takes center stage for this song. Unbelievable solo and melodic tune.
“Warrior”: My favorite song off the whole album. Completely irresistable and you’ll find yourself singing it later. Bass and Drums pound on.
“Another Way To Die”: First single and very catchy. Nice instrumental portion, and beat is sick. Defintely a head-bobber. (You know what I mean.)
“Never Again”: Weakest track on the album due to its haphazard and rushed feel the verses carry. Nice guitar solo, however, and the classic “chugga-chugga” rhythym is present here.
“The Animal”: Kind of a fun song with virtually no meaning. Strong solo (again) and vocals are outstanding.
“Crucified”: Lead singer David Draiman soars with this song. He is absolutely amazing, and the bridge will give you chills.
“Serpentine”: Cool and strong, with mixed vocals from the whole band. Nice change of pace for Disturbed.
“My Child”: Possibly the most emotional song ever for Disturbed; Listeners will definitely feel for the lead singer while listening to this song. On a performance side, it is very strong and powerful.
“Sacrifice”: Good, not great. Catchy, and some good riffs keep it fresh, but much stronger songs exist on this album.
“Innocence”: Amazing conclusion to a truly epic album. Fast paced verses mix with a heavily melodic chorus; Also features unrelenting drums and bass. Definitely will not dissapointing, with a great message. (I listened to it twice in a row!).
Overall, Asylum is Disturbed’s best album ever, with more varied lyrical themes and a needed change of sound from their previous album Indestructible. So thats why Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock should add the whole album as DLC! Hope you liked my review as well! Let me know if it was well written and helpful, okay!
